Privacy Policy
Last updated: 8 June 2026
This policy explains how Call Me Fred – adsyme Ltd (England and Wales, company number 08301982, 86–90 Paul Street, London EC2A 4NE) collects and uses your personal data when you use RadioHost Live. We are the data controller. Questions: hello@radiositemaker.com.
1. Data we collect
- Account details — your name, station name, and email address. Sign-in is passwordless, so we never store a password. If you use Google or Apple sign-in on mobile, we receive the basic profile (name, email) you authorise.
- Station content — show titles, jingles and audio you load, live audio you broadcast, and recordings of your shows.
- Usage data — stream and listener metrics such as listener counts and listener-hours, used for fair-use limits and your dashboard.
- Billing data — your subscription status and the customer/subscription identifiers from Paddle. We do not see or store full card numbers.
- Technical data — IP address, device and browser type, and basic request logs.
We do not knowingly collect special-category data (health, biometric, political, etc.).
2. How we use your data
To create and run your account, deliver live streams and replays to your listeners, send one-time login codes and important service emails, process payments, enforce fair-use limits, keep the Service secure, and meet our legal obligations. Our lawful bases under UK GDPR are performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Service, and compliance with legal obligations.
3. Service providers we share data with
| Provider | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Paddle | Payments, invoicing and tax (Merchant of Record) |
| Resend | Sending login codes and transactional email |
| PostHog | Product analytics, to understand and improve usage (only with your cookie consent) |
| Cloudflare R2 | Storage of show recordings |
| Hosting / infrastructure provider | Running the application and database |
| Google & Apple | Optional sign-in on mobile, if you use it |
Some providers may process data outside the UK/EU; where they do, appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) are in place. We do not sell your personal data.
4. Cookies & analytics
The web app uses an essential session cookie to keep you signed in, and an admin cookie for staff access; these are always required for the Service to work. With your consent, we also use PostHog analytics to understand how the app is used and improve it — you can accept or decline this from the cookie banner, and your choice is remembered in your browser. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
5. How long we keep it
- Account data — deleted within 30 days after your subscription ends.
- Station content and recordings — kept while your subscription is active, plus a 30-day grace period.
- Technical and log data — up to 12 months.
- Payment and invoice records — up to 7 years, to meet UK tax law.
6. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you may request access to your data, correction, deletion (“right to be forgotten”), restriction or objection to processing, and portability, and you may withdraw consent where processing is based on it. Email hello@radiositemaker.com and we will respond within 30 days. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
7. Security
We use TLS encryption in transit, store session and one-time codes only as hashes, and apply access controls. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data and will notify the ICO of a qualifying breach within 72 hours.
8. Changes
We may update this policy; material changes will be notified by email or in the app.
